The first half of the year is definitely the season for trade shows in the IT world, and the last two months have seen Internetrix participate at two of the largest and most respected IT shows in the region - CeBIT Sydney in May, and CommunicAsia in June, held in Singapore.
CeBIT Australia, the showcase event for the Australian IT sector, is subsidiary of the hugely successful event held each year in Hannover. In this its 4th year, with more than 600 exhibitors and 28,216 visitors over its 3 days, the event was regarded as a great success. CeBIT also saw the launch of Affinity 2.0, our internet-based CRM tool. With many strong enquiries, and a press release during the show that coincided with mentions in The Australian, we were pretty happy with how things turned out ourselves.
CommunicAsia is another international event, held in conjunction with BroadcastAsia and EnterpriseAsia. Hosted by the Singapore Exhibition Services, this event played host to more than 1400 exhibitors and tens of thousands of visitors over its 4 days of operation. As visitors to the event, we were very excited to participate in a range of business engagements and networking activities, and were delighted in the interest Affinity generated in this highly competitive global market.
Aside from dozens of leads, one of the most exciting things to come out of these two engagements, following up from our participation in the Hong Kong ICT Expo on March, was the validation of our market, and the opportunity to pitch our products head to head against competitors with a global presence. Our software, particularly Affinity 2.0 have demonstrated their world class status, and we look forward to bringing news of continued international success into the future.
