Google’s CEO Sundar Pichai has indicated that the company will be move from it's strong 'mobile first' standpoint and centering its attention towards Artificial Intelligence.
Technology in general has transformed from computers with clunky monitors to mini computers on your wrist. Considering the rapid pace at which technology is developing, it is easy to see why Pichai predicts a future where computers and artificial intelligence will compete. Google indicates that computer devices will be soon replaced with a rapidly growing force of Artificial Intelligence and envisions a super, smart assistant helping you to move seamlessly across Google services in a natural way.
Although Artificial Intelligence has been the source of intense debate among technologists, Google is re-enforcing its role in the new ways that people will interact with technology in an increasingly crowded field with the likes of Facebook, Microsoft and Amazon.
Picking up the founder mantel, Pichai has embraced Google’s long standing mission and emphasised Google was and is an information company and not a product company, without any intention to become a conventional company.
