Internetrix is proud to announce its inclusion as a member of the Australian Technology Showcase (ATS). The promotional and networking program is targeted at small and medium sized Australian businesses that produce innovative, cutting edge technology.
"We are really excited to be a part of the ATS," said Geoff McQueen, Internetrix' Managing Director. "With selection being highly competitive and subject to exhausting assessment of our company, our products, and our people, just getting into the program is a great result."
Launched in 1997 as a NSW Government Department of State and Regional Development initiative, the ATS was established to show off Australian technology to the world during the 2000 Olympics in Sydney.
Now a national program, the ATS features 500 companies from across Australia. Representatives from the public and private sectors collaborate to share knowledge, expertise and experiences, helping members to gain the skills needed to flourish both in Australia and the competitive global marketplace.
To become a member Internetrix submitted a formal application that was assessed by an independent panel that decided that Internetrix' products were appropriate for inclusion in the showcase. One important criterion Internetrix satisfied was that it has a strong potential for global sales.
"Not only will Internetrix gain knowledge from partnering Australian vendors, being an ATS member will help us establish ourselves as a competitive business force in the international market," said Geoff.
