One of the major things to happen around here in the last two months (since our last newsletter) was our move to Suite 1E, 200 Crown Street Wollongong. These new offices better suit our needs as we look forward to another big year of growth, and as with many things in the short history of Internetrix, could not have been timed better.
The move process was not smooth (are they ever?), and we were challenged especially by a severe case of "Murphy's Law" when it came to our telecommunications infrastructure - something quite important given our line of work. With significant mistakes by our phone systems provider and delays by Telstra, particularly with the provision of ADSL (new connections were delayed for many weeks due to insufficient capacity at the exchange), the Internetrix team faced a very challenging time as we worked to deliver our high level of customer service with only primitive tools to work with for almost the whole of November.
We would like to thank all of our clients for their patience during this period (particularly with any trouble you had getting through to us on the telephone), and I would also like to congratulate my team for persevering through and ensuring that their commitment to customer service remained unwavering.
The good news, of course, is that we are now in and settled, with all our infrastructure in place, and the results for you, our clients, are outstanding, including more space to grow into, a more professional board/meeting environment, more central access (public car park in the building) and more. We look forward to giving it all a good work-out for you and your business next year!
