Webmail is a browser based email system that allows you to access your email from anywhere, at any time. While many business people run Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express from their desktop, when you are away from your usual computer you can access your new emails via any internet web browser.
If you currently have an email account with Internetrix, you can access your webmail right now - you just need to know your account username (usually your email address) and password.
Log on to www.yourdomainname.com.au/webmail. For example, our webmail address for Internetrix staff would be www.internetrix.com.au/webmail.
This interface requires the same username and password as your usual Outlook program does. Make sure you type your full email address, including the "@yourdomainname.com.au". This service provides access to all your new emails, however those that have been previously downloaded to your computer in Outlook will not be available, as it will delete the messages from the server in default mode.
Across the top you will find a tool bar for checking, composing, and searching for emails. Help files, an address book and folders that you have set up in webmail previously are available along the top menu. Any emails that you delete in webmail will not be downloaded to Outlook - you are accessing them on the server, before they are downloaded onto your computer.
Internetrix provides webmail as an option for business clients that want to log in to their emails when away from their business. You can read, respond to, delete and administer your emails just as you would at your desk in the office.
