 THE ROLE

 Our dev teams work on a range of projects and clients at any one time, so things never get boring. With some very large commercial and government clients we get to work on some of the most interesting work in the industry. In this role you will: 

  • Plan, build, test and support the development of website applications
  • Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand their specifications and requirements
  • Participate in team meetings and help to identify opportunities to continuously improve processes
  • Be involved in development specifications for planned work
  • Provide support to clients with ongoing application maintenance when needed
  • Maximising performance of web applications through tagging and server optimisation

 ABOUT YOU

 We’ve got a great culture going here at Internetrix so your interpersonal and team skills are going to be as important as your technical skills. Specifically we’re looking for someone who:

  • High competency in PHP / MySQL / Apache
  • You are passionate about web development and care about quality - embracing code reviews, testing and refining
  • You are flexible have the confidence to learn quickly and apply new ideas
  • Wants to continue learning and growing as a developer, and in return be willing to share your knowledge with your team
  • Has excellent communication skills, both written and spoken
  • You are a genuine team player
  • Has full, unrestricted working rights in Australia

 Some additional skills that will be highly valued include:

  • Experience using Git code repositories (Gitlab, Github, Bitbucket etc)
  • Javascript - some form of ES6, React, Angular, NodeJS etc experience
  • Experience using Gulp, Grunt or Bower etc
  • .Net experience will be highly regarded
  • Previous experience in Magento and Wordpress

We will offer a full-time permanent employment or alternatively a full-time fixed term contract based out of our office in Wollongong NSW.  Flexible working arrangements are negotiable and salary will be based on the skill level and experience of the successful applicant. Full unrestricted working rights are a must have so unfortunately offshore applications will not be considered.
